Description

The Gerber Strongarm is a robust fixed-blade knife made in the United States. This knife is designed for people who need to be able to rely on their knife. Whether you are going into the jungle, the desert or the forest around the corner, the Strongarm will lend you a helping hand.

The 420HC steel blade is nice and sturdy. At the same time, not too clumsy to use for simple tasks around the camp. The matte black, ceramic coating prevents reflections and rust. The tang of the blade extends to the end of the handle. There, the steel protrudes a bit. Ideal for smashing something. Think of collecting cockles stuck on a rock in the water. Of course, you don't want to use the blade for that.

The grip itself is made of FRN: glass-reinforced nylon. Lightweight and very strong. For extra grip, Gerber has added an extra rubber to this core overmould done. An extra layer with a grippy diamond pattern.

A striking feature of a knife in this price range is the very luxurious sheath that you get with the Strongarm. Carrying left-handed, right-handed, vertically or horizontally on the belt or on a MOLLE vest: the Strongarm feels at home everywhere. You can't think of anything that you can't mount the Strongarm on.
