• The device contains an internal, rechargeable lithium battery for up to 14 days of use in standard tracking mode with 10-minute transmission intervals and up to 30 days in power-saving mode.
• Get detailed weather updates on your inReach Mini 2 or compatible device. You can request weather forecasts for your current location and any other waypoints or destinations in your itinerary.
• Sync with the Garmin Explore website or mobile app on your compatible smartphone for navigation, waypoints, courses, activities and collections. You'll also get access to trip planning and topographic maps.
• You must have an active satellite subscription to access the Iridium satellite network for inReach device features, including tracking, messaging, weather forecasts, and interactive SOS.

Please note: the Garmin inReach Mini 2 is not a satellite phone. It is a satellite communicator that allows you to send and receive text messages over the Iridium satellite network. You can also send an SOS distress signal and share your location, but it does not support voice calls like a real satellite phone.
