Description

NB!This product is no longer available because the manufacturer has decided to stop selling it through resellers. Here is the alternative recommended by SOS Central: Aqua Logic Gravity-CS-Ultra-HC filter element 8 inches

The Ultra Sterasyl (old name: ATC Super Sterasyl) filter element, suitable for the British Berkefeld RVS 8-litre water filter and British Berkefeld RVS Compact 6-litre water filter, removes heavy metals as well as bacteria, chemicals and chlorine. The Ultra Sterasyl filters particles from 0.5 microns (this is 500 nanometers) with an efficiency of more than 99%.

The filter element contains active carbon and resin and is made of silver-impregnated ceramic, making it self-sterilising. The element, therefore, does not need to be boiled during use. If the flow rate of the filter element decreases, you can clean it with a scouring pad. This removes the deposits that have formed on the outside, and the element regains its original performance.

Each filter can purify approximately. 20 litres per filter element per day. Because you can place 4 filters at the same time, it is good for a total of up to 80 litres of safe drinking water per day. British Berkefeld outdoor water filter systems are so powerful that they are able to effortlessly purify river, ditch and groundwater into safe drinking water.
