Description

German MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) heater. The Flameless Ration Heater (FRH) is the most commonly used type of MRE heater. These heaters consist of a water-activated pouch of stabilized aluminum and sodium hydroxide that acts as a heating element to generate heat. Add a small amount of water to the pad, place your MRE meal in the loosely provided pouch and wait 15 minutes. The FRH quickly heats your meal without the need for an open flame, making it a safe and convenient option. Fast, easy and smokeless. It is also safe. The chemical reaction is not harmful and cannot reach your food.

The heating element is placed at the bottom of the heating bag. Place the dish to be heated on top, tightly closed, add 250 ml of water to the heating bag and close it according to the instructions. After about 15 minutes the dish is ready to eat.
